NC Program Finder
This tool is designed to help individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD), autism, traumatic brain injury (TBI), and other cognitive disabilities — along with their families and caregivers — identify potential services and supports they may be eligible for through CWS or other resources.
Based on the information you provide about age, location, disability-related needs, current funding or waiver status, and goals (such as employment, vocational training, community integration, or skill-building), the Program Finder will:
- Suggest CWS programs and supports that may align with those needs
- Point users toward other local or state resources when CWS services are not the best fit or are unavailable.
- Offer general guidance on next steps for connecting with CWS staff or external providers.
- Provide general information about resources, benefits, etc...

This tool is for guidance only. It does not:
- Determine official eligibility for any program, waiver, or funding source.
- Guarantee placement, funding approval, or availability of services.
- Replace a formal intake, assessment, or person-centered planning process conducted by qualified staff or Medicaid/waiver authorities.
- Provide legal, medical, or benefits advice.
- Cover every possible service or provider in North Carolina.
